The Island of Roatan is a world-class diving location with one of the largest living coral reefs hugging its shores. Many fine dive sites are located minutes from shore in the Marine Reserve at the western end of the island.
West Bay Beach will probably give you your life's most memorable snorkeling experience.
The reef is only a short swim from the beach and contains a wealth of fish, corals, and other underwater life right there for you to experience "up close and personal". Be sure to pack your snorkeling gear or you can rent snorkeling gear from one of several nearby shops.
